Germany, Final Chapter
Ok, so it's a week coming, but so what.
Friday was a bit unusal, since in Germany, they really take Good Friday seriously. Most, if not all places were closed, some bars were open, but no dancing.
We met up with Katja and her friend Danie (from Munich) and went to dinner, where we hada nice German meal. Later we went to the House of 150 Beers and had to suffer throug hthe loud, obnoxious, idiotic Americans at the bar. The waitress told Katja that we could not run a tab, since she was with "Americans". We were all getting annoyed with the screaming idiots, and after a while some drunk German with a St. Patrwick's Day type hat started hitting on Katja. He then extended his hand to shake mine, and said "It could be worse. At least you are not in Iraq." He obviously thought I was military because of my haircut. We got tired of that scene and went to some other bar in Würburg and hung out there a while. I had my first shot of Absynth in Europe. It tasted like the stuff Joel brought back from Italy.
We ended up leaving around 3 am, and heading home. Had to get some rest for our loooooong day on Saturday.
