And of course a giant thank you to my beautiful girlfriend Monique and her (my) son Avery. You were with me all the way.
The Heart Walk in DC raised over $1,000,000.
I had a good time and will do it again next year.

For a good cause

On Saturday 4 November 2006 I will participating in the Heart Walk 2006-2007 here in Washington, DC.
In the past I have volunteered for the Tour of Hope, which benefits The Lance Armstrong Foundation. I have also coordinated fundraising events at my school such as Jump Rope For Heart and School Walk For Diabetes. This is the first time I will be participating in an event that directly affects me. I have emailed some of you regarding this and I guess this is an attempt to put out a call to other people who may be browsing this blog to donate to this great cause. Rollercoaster

Well, my good news didn't last too long. My cardiologist called me Tuesday and told me after looking at the recording from the holter monitor I had to wear last Thursday and Friday, I had a series of 6 Ventricular tachycardia and would probably need to have an ICD implanted in my chest. I have an appointment with an electrophysiologist tomorrow and will find out if I will need one. I have some questions to ask, thanks to Dr. Joel. :)
I'll be sure to keep everyone updated as soon as I find out what the next step will be.
